Everyone is neatly summarising their years. I don’t think I have it in me. Between the two jobs, the touring in two bands to 5 states, the much-lauded total implosion of my personal life and the belaboured recovery thereafter, I think the best thing I can say is “I feel like i’ve been given a great many opportunities to learn a great deal.” And my most profound hope is that I took as many of them as I was able to cope with.
I am so grateful for so much, and to so many. Here’s to 2012 - a year of growth and of dressing snappier. Or so i’m hoping.
